Born in Bedford, Texas, in 1990, Cassie spent much of her childhood in Murrieta, situated north of San Diego, California. Her love for cooking was inspired by her grandfather, who was a remarkable chef. She later moved to San Antonio to study at the Art Institute of San Antonio, where she honed her skills and spent seven years as the Sous Chef at Mixtli.
